Is it really so hard to believe that one day we will have a Doomsday type scenario?

I ask the above question for several reasons. Since the launch of http://www.survivingdoomsday.net/ we have posted several blogs on some of our Social Networks and we have received some responses, some have been good others not so good. Some of the things that we are hearing are people thinking that we are using fear to promote our site and make money. Just to be clear here, the questions that we are asking are the same that are going through millions of peoples mind. http://www.survivingdoomsday.net/ is merely a place to go where you can educate yourself on theories that are out there circulating the web. What we are doing is simply adding all of this information on one site.

Now I want to go back to the above question. I have noticed that some people are really ignorant to the possibility of some type of Doomsday scenario. For some reason or another folks have the misunderstanding that Doomsday is the end of the world. As the previous blog states, doomsday can be any event be man made or natural that changes the way we live in an adverse way.

It is interesting to see how some people prefer to stay in the dark about certain issues, you see we do not claim to have the answers to everything and we do not claim that anything on our site is actually going to happen. You see this is for you, the reader to decide how far the rabbit hole goes. If anything we just want you to open your mind and get out of that bubble you are living in.

I too hope that a doomsday scenario never happens, however if you study the Earth you will see that many civilizations just vanished, just look at all of the underwater ruins. This alone tells you that a catastrophic event happened that ended in those cities being flooded thus destroying the population in those cities. Look at what happened to the Dinosaurs.

Our intentions are not to install fear but to educate and get people thinking again. The possibility of a Doomsday scenario is not out of this world it can happen and it will happen the question is if and when it does happen, will you be ready?

Dear Readers,

My name is Nathan G. and I along with my business partner JC Marti have decided to create SurvivingDoomsday.net for the sole purpose of educating the public on rumors and future events that may happen during our lifetime concerning a possible doomsday event. What is a Doomsday event? A doomsday event can be anything from a global pandemic, a geological event such as massive flood basalt, volcanism, or the eruption of a supervolcano, a gamma ray burst or other devastating blast of cosmic radiation.

Other natural occurrences may include, an abrupt reorientation of Earth's axis of rotation, a drastic increase or decrease in the Sun's energy output, an impact event caused by the collision of a large meteoroid, asteroid, or comet with Earth, a sudden change in the physical constants governing the universe, such as that created by a Vacuum metastability event, a close approach of a black hole to the solar system, an exceptionally devastating hypercane, a universal Big Rip or Big Crunch or severe climate change, caused by natural earth/sun cycles.

The above scenarios are doomsday events that can naturally happen without the help of mankind. The next few scenarios I will mention are those that are non natural or can be caused by the human hand. These include, severe anthropogenic global warming, the creation of a black hole on or close to Earth, Depletion of oil or other important natural resources, assuming that alternatives are not explored, strangelet accident, a nuclear, chemical, or biological war, a cybernetic revolt, a grey goo inundation and the unlikely but possible alien invasion.Now the most common doomsday event would be that one of the end of days or the great battle of Armageddon. For believers, this is one of the events that no matter what you do you cannot escape it, however all of the other events that I mention can and will happen, it is all just a matter of when?

With all that said there is this question that you most ask yourself, will you be ready? Most people tend to overlook the fact that our world is changing and as everyday passes we are more and more closer to a doomsday event then we care to acknowledge. For this reason we have created Survivingdoomsday.net to help you get informed and prepared for when such a catastrophic event does happen you are prepared to face them and give yourself a fighting chance at survival. Our website is still in it's infant stages so bare with us as more information is added. Some of the topics that we will cover range from the obvious Doomsday scenarios to government conspiracy, the supernatural and the always fun topic of UFO and Aliens. Also some of the topics will be on theology and the different types of believe regarding the creation of man, weather it be from a supernatural bean like God or just a creation of nature.
